Posted December 9th, 2011, by Moderator

Check out the results of our non traditional social poll! We want to hear from you. What do you find most interesting about these results? I AM THE TEA PARTY! Conducted a very different type of political temperature poll then you normally see. We wanted to know who’s message do people LIKE right now in our Tea Party group? So we asked: We are calling it an “on the spot, news feed poll” determined by the number of LIKES the candidate got when we posted their official Facebook Page in our groups “News Feed” in a 24 hour period. I just do not understand the political popularity of Ron Paul; He seems more like a liberal in not wanting to directly address security concerns. Rather, he wants to stick his head in the sand like an Ostrich. The world is becoming more dangerous, day by day. Not facing the problem is no solution. Taking away the strength in military answers is NOT a Conservative stand.
Newt seems to be a different verse of the same Romney song; Big Government is NOT the answer.
I’m just not at the point where one candidate stands out from the pile. It’s easier to cross them off the voting slate than to find one to vote for.

Yes Newt is the typial war mongering, whore mongering, establishment hack and sell out. Ron Paul is not weak on defense, that is a misunderstanding. He is against wars that congress does not declare. The founding forefathers shared his view on minding our own business and only fighting those that attack us. The rest of the gop candidates are fine with bankrupting this country with endless wars of aggression based on lies, propaganda, and skewed intelligence. Also if Newt gets the nomination then we will have four more years of Obama. I’m willing to bet anyone on this.

So tired of hearing Ron Paul supporters say he is not an Isolationist.  I am sorry, anyone who thinks it is ok for Iran and N’ Korea to get the Bomb, and everything will be ok is definetly drinking some kind of Kool-Aid.  Pulling out of everywhere and coming home is ISOLATIONISM.  I am not saying that there is places we can pull out of.  But when they say we can’t afford to be there; In some places we can not afford to not be there.

These same supporters are going to write in his name come November, like that is productive as well.  As good as a vote for the status quo.

  • Teapartywdc

How did you determine they are Tea Party. I know NOONE irresponsible or ignorant enough to vote for crony capitalist Romney, Gingrich, Perry and Huntsmann.

I’m not happy with ANY of them!  If push comes to shove, though, I’d vote for the one from the group who is on the ticket.  BUT — I’m still hoping for a dark horse by the name of Allen West!  I’m not only hoping, but praying that he either throws his hat in the ring or is drafted!  PLEASE, GOD!!!

  • Eddie

Fran….Mr. West stated the other day that if he is asked to run as a VP he would answer the call. I’m going to say this and hope that I don’t end up having to eat my words BUT…if Newt gets the nod I believe he will ask Mr. West to run with him. That is also my earnest heart felt prayer.

Drwooly I believe I can answer your question about why there are so many who follow the munchkin nitwit Ron Paul. The brain dead have to have a leader too. I would imagine he makes a better doctor than a politician. He gives new meaning to the word naive. If the truth be known I’d be willing to wager that a lot of his followers are OJUDAS rejects.

At this point I say any one BUT! Obuma !!!
