Herman Cain & Rick Perry Support The FAIR TAX. Do you?

Posted August 17th, 2011, by Lstone

With lot’s of cheap talk about “tax reform” these days. It’s important to note that only 2 candidates for President in 2012 have come out in favor of the FAIR TAX. Does your candidate support the FAIR TAX?

IT CAN HAPPEN IF WE DEMAND IT!

Rick Perry told the group of about 30 in an Interview in Iowa yesterday that he “was open to tax reforms that would lower the corporate income tax rate and move toward the “Fair Tax,” a nationwide sales tax in place of the federal income tax. He also wrote in his book , Fed Up! by Rick Perry: “[W]e should restrict the unlimited source of revenue that the federal government has used to grow beyond its constitutionally prescribed powers. One option would be to totally scrap the current tax code in favor of a flat tax, and thereby make taxation much simpler, easier to follow, and harder to manipulate. Another option would be to repeal the Sixteenth Amendment to the Constitution (providing the power for the income tax) altogether, and then pursue an alternative model of taxation such as a national sales tax or the Fair Tax.” [Fed Up!, p. 126, emphasis added]
