Many are unaware that the contemporary tea party derives it’s name from the acronym: T.E.A. = Taxed Enough Already. The TEA Party movement, to me, is not about social, environmental or political philosophies. It’s about taxation and representation. Period, end of story. The average American, no matter what their sociopolitical philosophies may be, should be able to relate to the objectives of the movement. I am not anti-government. I AM for limited and effective government. Unless you enjoy paying one half of your earnings to a behemoth government for redistribution at their choosing, you should ignore the hype and noise and see for YOURSELF what it’s all about. The best advice my earthly father ever gave me was: “don’t believe ANYTHING that you hear, and only half of what you SEE! Do your own research…make up your own mind! If you are pragmatic you will understand.
